It is the hour to rend thy chains,
The blossom time of souls.

Easter sunrise with loved ones. House show at sweet beau's house where many more loved ones new and old came to celebrate.
Last photo taken while shadowing my photographic mentor of the moment, Tiffiney. I am officially an intern. :)

Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him father. (or call her mother!)
~Lydia Maria Child

Yesterday I had the sweet joy of meeting my dear friends Aaron & Christine's first little one, Emma Jennifer. I remember the beautiful October day when I was driving through New York wine country when I got the call that they were expecting her! I was beyond thrilled and didn't stop smiling for 2 days! My precious friends (and one time neighbors in the good ol' days!) are just loving, giving, joy-filled people. I am thankful that the Father chose to give them such a precious treasure. Love you sweet little family!

(In the last picture there are 4 generations represented- amazing heritage!)

Uganda

on Tuesday, March 3, 2009

As many of you know, I will be in Uganda March 5-26 with the Charlotte Eagle and the Sports Outreach Institute. I praise God for this experience the the opportunity to use photography as a way to serve the people of Uganda. If you are interested, you may keep up with us on this blog as long as the power stays on in Uganda. :) Be blessed!

"Family faces are magic mirrors.
Looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, present and future."
~Elizabeth Stone

I had the "joy" of spending the week with my sister and her family, last named Joy. Really, she really lucked out when ole'Jake gave her that last name. I digress. We had a wonderful time holding sweet and chubby baby Atticus. He really loves me- my sheer presence was hypnotic to him. :) My nieces were a delight as well! It is a marvel to watch them grow and change, learn and become sweet little ladies. I was able to be present at Poppy's first haircut which I documented here. Highlight according to Poppy-the post-haircut lollipop. Belle is just enjoying being the biggest Bundle-Of-Joy of them all. Sweet girl.

Enjoy my family!

baby atticus, i love you!

Welome sweet miracle! My sweet nephew is here, all 10 lbs. and dark head of hair of him! I should have photographs of him soon. Great job mommy Susanna, you are so courageous! Praises! :)
